BDO Legal Guide: the implications of the EU Directive on Transparent and Predictable Working Conditions

Introducing the “BDO Legal Guide to the implications of the EU Directive on Transparent and Predictable Working Conditions”.

This practical guide is focused on the consequences of the application of the EU Directive in national law, effective in all EU Member States, including France, since August 1st, 2022. Emilie Ducorps-Prouvost, Partner and head of BDO Avocats' employment law team in Paris, contributed to this guide for France. The EU Directive extends the list of information to be transmitted to the candidate at the time of recruitment and shortens the deadline for transmitting this information. In addition, it provides for the establishment of minimum rights for employees in order to reinforce the predictability and transparency of the employment relationship and to preserve the health and safety of the employee.

The practical guide includes BDO Legal’s recommendations on which aspects companies should pay particular attention to.
